Substack, What the f…

For those who reject this as an anti-Semitic or anti Zionist rant, please research the words in the preface; trust, but verify.

Preface
Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, former Chief Sephardi Rabbi of Israel and spiritual leader of the Shas Party, publicly stated: “Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world” — and compared the lives of non-Jews to donkeys kept alive only to serve Jews.

I’ve been told that my conversation style is very poor; that I should give the other party the opportunity to talk about themselves.

So, here goes with my first attempt at sanitising my conversation protocols.

Substack, what the fuck is wrong with you?

3 hours after writing about the genocidal qualifications of the prime minister of India, Modi, a piece titled “India- Dinner or Chef” (link below), I went to open another of my pieces called “Golom’s other sin” (not sure this link came through; the fuckery has started) about the genocide in Darfur, Sudan, only to receive the following message;

Piss off. Your account is blocked. Tough shit.

There was and is no other warning. My stack is still there and I can work normally. I just can’t take part in the live conversations via the app.

I was very concerned and upset. Yes, I have a potty mouth and I use some bad words, but compared to what I’ve read on the stacks, my work is about as offensive as being hissed at by a cat, a very small cuddly cat, and, about as dangerous.

One only has to read any non critical piece I’ve written to discover that my approach to others and life in general is based on reciprocity; that is, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Hardly a radical or provocative stance.

I wrote to them, and I cannot describe the relief I felt when I received an AI generated message telling me to await their pleasure. Woah! These guys are really on the ball. Truly they are the epitome of professionalism; well their AI is; I await their pleasure and convenience in the hope that I get a response from them before I make friends with Al, Alzheimer, or die of old age, I am 70. ( In their defence, they did reach me before late onset Alzheimer’ - see the ensuing fun email chain below)

I immediately started a process to rescue my work and get my subscriber list.

Anddddd, you’ve got it. I am not allowed to recover any of my 40 odd articles, nor will they give me my subscriber list - let that be a word to the wise. My data, all of it, but hey when you have to rely on the concept of fairness from those whose power is asymmetrically greater than yours, well don’t expect a balanced view. Those with the whip hand just cannot resist using it, just because they can. As the man said “there’s more to balance than not falling over”.

You know, like Israel

We bring armed soldiers, state apparatus, nuclear arsenal, US funding.
You bring your babies, the vulnerable, the old, and harsh words, that’s all we’ll allow you to have.

Sadly, I believe that Substack are cleaning house to prepare an IPO and join the other public mouthpieces owned or controlled by the scourge of our poor, tormented earth, Zionist Israel, the poster boy for managing oppressed folk through extreme genocidal practices. I mean, golom, as per his genocidal Zionist god’s demand is preparing the world for the cleansing of all goyim, that’s us, everyone not them. Iran, being the 7th war of the 7 their think tank back in early 2000 mandated would be required to enable phase one of the plan; a land grab all to way to the Persian gulf. Does phase I imply a phase II? (See adjacent note ‘7th of 7’ on this site).

The tortured Semites he has drafted into the Gaza Hunger Games in PALESTINE (yes a sovereign state with their inalienable human fucking right to fucking own the land where they born to): that one. This is just a dress rehearsal.

So, golom has captured another channel speaking ill of his genocidal mandate from his genocidal god. The modern day independent press being captured in real time.

NOTE: I have today served Substack with a formal GDPR Subject Access Request under EU law (see below). They have 30 days to comply or face the Italian Data Protection Authority and fines of up to €20 million. The clock is ticking. The link for EU GDPR template is…https://physics-and-faith.ghost.io/formal-notice-2/

And they responded. Fun email chain follows.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to exercise my rights as a data subject under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). I am an EU resident based in Milan, Italy, and the GDPR applies in full to your processing of my personal data.

My account has been suspended by Substack. Despite this suspension, my rights under the GDPR remain fully in effect. Account suspension does not extinguish, diminish, or in any way affect my data protection rights. I therefore make the following requests.

1. Subject Access Request (Article 15 GDPR)

Pursuant to Article 15, I request a complete copy of all personal data you hold concerning me. This includes, but is not limited to:

(a) All articles, posts, drafts, and editorial content I have created on the platform;

(b) My complete subscriber and mailing list, including all email addresses of individuals who subscribed to my publication;

(c) All comments, notes, and interactions I have made on the platform;

(d) All account data, profile information, and settings;

(e) All analytics and engagement data associated with my publication;

(f) Any internal records, flags, reports, or moderation notes relating to my account, including the specific content or conduct that allegedly triggered my account suspension;

(g) Any correspondence or communications relating to my account.

2. Right to Data Portability (Article 20 GDPR)

Pursuant to Article 20, I request that the personal data I have provided to you be delivered to me in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Specifically:

(a) My subscriber/mailing list in CSV or equivalent machine-readable format;

(b) All my published and draft content in a portable format (e.g., HTML, Markdown, or JSON);

(c) All associated metadata, including publication dates, subscriber counts, and engagement data.

Article 20(1) is clear: this right applies to data provided by the data subject and processed on the basis of consent or contract. My content and subscriber list fall squarely within this scope.

3. Request for Transparency Regarding Suspension

Pursuant to Article 15(1)(h), where my personal data has been subject to automated decision-making, I request meaningful information about the logic involved, the significance, and the envisaged consequences of such processing. If my account suspension was triggered in whole or in part by automated content moderation systems, I am entitled to this information.

I request that you identify the specific content that allegedly violated your policies and the specific policy provision that was allegedly breached.

4. Compliance Timeline

Under Article 12(3) GDPR, you are required to respond to this request without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt. I note that this deadline runs from the date of receipt of this request, not from any future resolution of my account appeal.

5. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Should you fail to comply with this request within the statutory timeframe, I will:

(a) Lodge a formal complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority), as is my right under Article 77 GDPR;

(b) Reserve the right to seek an effective judicial remedy under Article 79 GDPR; and

(c) Note that infringements of Articles 15 and 20 are subject to administrative fines of up to €20,000,000 or 4% of total worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher, pursuant to Article 83(5)(b) GDPR.

6. Identity Verification

I am sending this request from the email address associated with my Substack account, which should be sufficient to verify my identity. Should you require additional verification, please advise promptly so that compliance is not delayed.

I trust you will treat this request with the urgency and seriousness that the law requires.

Yours faithfully,

——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-—

The day after I sent Substack the GDPR notice I mentioned above, I received this lovely little missive;

——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-——-—

To say I was stunned is an understatement, and my initial reply was the product of relative speechlessness. I include it below for the completeness of the record.

My response-

——————————-————————————————————————————————
Given the crap that others get away with, I’m posting reasoned evidence-based discourse. I don’t want the followers; I am not trying to grow my presence. I’m trying to create a threshold against the anti-victim rhetoric that is flooding everywhere. I could labour a 1000 Sundays and not put a dent in the utterly asymmetric messaging in favour of the bullies.

By your argument, you are doing precisely what I am fighting against.

The misinformation, the hasbara, the bot farms, the coordinated bullying — that stays up. But a 70-year-old writer posting links to evidence-based pieces about genocide gets flagged for “inauthentic behaviour.”

 I am a 70 year old nobody who is utterly, viscerally opposed to bullying from whatever stripe across the spectrum. Yes, abso fucking lutely, I will scream on behalf of those whose voices go unheard. You do understand that as I write, the Gaza Hunger Games have claimed yet more souls for whom no one said a word, not a requiem, other than silencing a voice that spoke in their defence. And speaks in the defence of those still living before they too are taken away.

Are you, and your policies so utterly blind to the simple human right to live free from harm, as you do now, yet silence me to ensure that they do not deserve the same freedom from harm.

I will not accept your terms. If access to your platform requires my silence in the face of genocide and the abuse of the vulnerable, then the price is too high.

And, I will make it my life’s mission, to spread far and wide the thrust of your argument. If you doubt my sincerity, read my stuff. Not a threat, a promise.

Regards

Ja

However, their attitude burned all night, and I woke with a compelling desire to drive a six inch nail through their despicable attitude with enough velocity it achieves light speed upon exit.

————————————————————————————————————————

I wrote-
You’ve poked the bear, now bear the consequences.

There is no reason, legal, moral, ethical, humanitarian, strategic, theological for any nation or human soul to support what Israel is doing.

You object to my mouse droppings of support for my, and your fellow pilgrims, in Gaza, that combined with the oh so very, very few voices raised against the darkness, the horrendous evil, that is not satisfied with bombing them back to Stone Age.

No, your position is that this is not enough, that these people who are expiring, dying, burning in real time in front of our very eyes, pose a clear and present danger to the hegemony of vicious killers, overwhelming armour, nuclear arsenal and US economic power.

Such is the terrifying moral might of their brutalised flesh that all that the world will allow them to stand up against the Armageddon unleashed by the insane Zionist state are their mothers, the daughters, the dying fathers, the babies that are allowed nano seconds of life before golom, the pinnacle of human evil, senses another mortal threat to the cleansing pogrom of goyim, non Jews and everyone else.

Just as Ukraine stands between the EU and the murderous intent of the mad czar, so the army of Gaza’s broken, bleeding, shambling ,dying stand between the Zionist credo that only god’s people are allowed to draw breath on this earth. We, the goyim, the PALESTINIANS, are all the same to Zion; our sole purpose Is to serve them, our sole reason to exist is to serve them. And serve them we do, every fucking day, with our thundering silence, and complicit support of the insane ambitions of this modern day Attila, currently in the midst of a land grab clear across  to the Persian gulf; next steps, thee and me, and the land we think is ours, think again. Martin Buber stands with us.

You are aware, no doubt, that one of the primary drivers behind the complicit silence of every sane democracy today is the military benefits accrued from battle testing the latest and greatest military technology on the flesh and bones of Palestinians in a search for the most efficient way of turning them into human chum!

You are safe in the certain security that your right to live free from harm, free from battle tested weapons, is enshrined in a law backed by military might. Not only would you deny them the same right, but you stand foursquare behind the clear intent to cleanse them clean off the planet.

If holocaust denial is a crime in most sane democracies, it would appear it is only so because it was god’s chosen that were dying. Yet a real time holocaust playing out on the Netflix of the despicable Zion, that’s cool and trendy and surely their just deserts.

SUBSTACK, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

That their very presence is a menace that must be stripped of all that is left as their shield. Are you going to hunt down Francesca Albanese, their only human shield, and remove her support too?

If you do, oh so fucking graciously, allow me back on your platform, understand one thing with the utmost clarity. I will be the Francesca Albanese to you and your commitment to your mission statement.

I will  be your conscience because, sure as shit, you haven’t one now.

If what I’ve been doing so far has attracted your algorithm’s attention, be advised that I will be testing its outer limits. I shall be doubling, nay trebling down on my mission to raise the threshold against this rising tide of genocidal hatred against our weakest and most vulnerable.

By every measure we fail the test of civilisation, with every preventable death, murder, imprisonment and harm. Platforms like yours could be a force for good by lighting a candle against the darkness that is engulfing our world now.

Driving the message of common human decency with an eye to the bottom line is despicable. You dilute the only voices left to fight armed soldiers, state apparatus, nuclear arsenals, and US funding. The voices like mine are all Gaza’s children have. And silencing those is your goto choice?

You live in the splendid certainty that what is being visited on those in Gaza, Darfur, Gujurat is distant and foreign and can never apply to you. You demand the basic human right to live without harm yet deny supporting the same right for others.

I’m all right, Jack, pull the ladder up!

Here is my counter offer, made in the clear knowledge that it removes your offer from the table forever. You stand on the cusp: accept my challenge, or face me on the outside pissing in.

You have been warned. Allow me back on your site and I will hold your feet to the fire of your tolerance for redressing the utter asymmetry that exists.

I will dare you every day to silence my voice.

In the name of human decency and all that is holy to you and Substack, do you accept my challenge?

Ja

Substack replied, doubling down.

Cry havoc ! And let slip the words of war!

Dear Landry

Thank you for your response.

I have no interest in reactivation.

I do, however, have an outstanding Subject Access Request and Right to Data Portability request pursuant to Articles 15 and 20 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), submitted on 27 February 2026.

Article 12(3) requires compliance “without undue delay” and in any event within one calendar month.

Given that my data already exists in your systems in structured, machine-readable format, there is no technical obstacle to immediate compliance.

I require the following without further delay:

1. A complete copy of all personal data held by Substack relating to my account, including but not limited to subscriber email addresses, publication content, analytics data, payment records, and account metadata.

2. Export of my subscriber list in a commonly used, machine-readable format (CSV or equivalent).

3. Confirmation of all third parties to whom my personal data has been disclosed.The restriction or suspension of my account does not extinguish your obligations under GDPR.

These are my data rights, not conditional privileges.

A formal complaint has been filed with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority).

Prompt compliance would be noted in any subsequent correspondence with the Authority.

I expect a substantive response within 7 calendar days.

Regards,

Ja

Reclamo ai sensi dell’Art. 77 GDPR — Substack Inc. — Violazione Artt. 15 e 20 Reg. (UE) 2016/679

Date: 1 March 2026

COMPLAINT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 77 OF REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)

Nome: first name
Cognome: last name
Codice Fiscale: Italian national insurance number, replace as appropriate.
Cellulare: duh!
E-mail: duh!

Data Controller:
Substack Inc.
111 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States
Privacy contact: privacy@substackinc.com

   1.    FACTS
I am a resident of Italy and an EU data subject. I operated a publication on Substack’s platform (physics-and-faith.substack.com) and had accumulated a subscriber base of readers who voluntarily provided their email addresses to follow my work.

On or around 25 February 2026, Substack restricted my account without prior notice. On 1 March 2026, Substack communicated by email that the restriction was due to alleged “spam and inauthentic engagement” — specifically, repeated posting of comments linking to my own articles across multiple publications.

On 27 February 2026, I submitted a formal Subject Access Request and Right to Data Portability request to Substack pursuant to Articles 15 and 20 of the GDPR, sent to privacy@substackinc.com.

I requested:
(a) A complete copy of all personal data held relating to my account;
(b) My subscriber list in a commonly used, machine-readable format;
(c) All publication content, analytics data, and account metadata;
(d) Confirmation of all third parties to whom my data has been disclosed.

As of the date of this complaint, Substack has not responded to this request. Their only communication has been the enforcement response of 1 March 2026, which does not address my data rights and instead offers conditional reactivation in exchange for my consent to deletion of prior content.

   2.    VIOLATIONS
I believe Substack Inc. is in violation of:
— Article 12(3): Failure to respond to my data subject request without undue delay and in any event within one calendar month.
— Article 15: Failure to provide access to my personal data upon request.
— Article 20: Failure to provide my personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format for the purposes of data portability.

I further note that the restriction of my account does not extinguish Substack’s obligations under the GDPR. Data subject rights under Articles 15 and 20 are unconditional and cannot be made contingent upon acceptance of the controller’s terms or consent to deletion of content.

   3.    PRIOR STEPS TAKEN
I submitted my SAR/portability request on 27 February 2026. No response has been received. I have also sent a follow-up demand on 1 March 2026 requiring a substantive response within 7 calendar days.

   4.    REMEDIES REQUESTED
I respectfully request that the Garante:
(a) Investigate Substack Inc.’s failure to comply with my data subject rights;
(b) Order Substack to provide all requested personal data, including my subscriber email list, without further delay;
(c) Impose any corrective measures or sanctions as the Garante deems appropriate under Article 58(2) of the GDPR.

   5.    JURISDICTION
As an Italian resident, I am entitled under Article 77(1) of the GDPR to lodge this complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. Substack processes the personal data of EU residents and is subject to the GDPR pursuant to Article 3(2).

I am available for any further information the Authority may require.

Respectfully submitted,

By you

May god bless the EU’s GDPR legislation. Finally, we in the EU have teeth against the vicious global hegemony practiced by the US IT industry.
